Senior SAP Application Systems Analyst - FICO

Position Summary

This role is responsible for the full life cycle implementation (technical and functional) and support of the Finance & Controlling modules in ECC 6.0 systems and near future transition to a SAP S4 Hana environment. This role is responsible for the full life cycle implementation (technical and functional) and support of the Finance & Controlling modules in ECC 6.0 systems and near future transition to a SAP S4 Hana environment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver requirements and project scope documents, business process design and configuration.
• Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements.
• Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment.
• Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and the design team members.
• Ensure the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.
• Hands-on configuration of core SAP Modules - Product Costing, General Ledger (Classic / New), Accounts Payable, Bank reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Profitability Analysis, Cost center accounting, Fixed assets
• Develop and Support business processes as they relate to FICO modules.
• Manage global template for applications to ensure that system remains stable and supportable.
• Support end users to ensure proper system usage and understanding.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience configuring in Finance & Controlling in ECC6 with at least 2 full life cycle implementations.
• Experience in SAP product costing
• Experience working in a support organization and delivering functional / technical specifications for enhancements & custom developments
• European or USGAAP tax and legal reporting requirements experience
• SAP S4HANA experience is a plus.
• SAP certification is a plus.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• In depth knowledge of FICO modules – Product Costing, GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking, COPA
• Strong Logistics & SD integration knowledge.
• Design, Prototype, configure SAP to meet customer requirements.
• Experience in supporting non-SAP finance application integrations to SAP
• Cross-functional SAP knowledge in MM / SD an advantage.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Knowledge of IDOC set up AP Inter-company invoice processing
• Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Good judgment and problem-solving ability & is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both Teleflex Medical and their customers.
